Letters and Articles

One of the ways that all of us can help Israel's cause is by sending articles and letters into newspapers, Web sites and broadcast media, and by calling in to talk-radio programs.

These can be be responses to other articles and letters already published, or they can be pro-active, such as writing about the many positive aspects of Israel or, for example, about the dangers of a "Palestinian" state.

We will feature such letters and articles by our members in this spot. If you have written a letter or article about Israel, the Middle East, the "peace" process or related topics, let us know by emailing us a copy at zoa@netreach.net and we may decide to post them on our Web site.

One of our ZOA-GPD Executive Committee Members responded to the Anglican Church's committee pronouncements regarding what Israel must do for Peace/Palestinians:

The Editor,

Dear Editor:

After reading the Anglican Consultative Committee's position on Israel and the Palestinians,  I now know why so many articles in the US predict the loss of European Christianity to Islam. Instead of being champions of the only democracy in the ME, instead of backing up Israel against its sworn- to- the- death foes, the ACC criticizes Israel.

Being complicit in your own destruction is really odd.  As the BBC and other news outlets have championed the Arab cause  the "news" they provide is uniformly anti-Israel. When Israel experienced wave after wave of suicide bombings, and finally had to spend many millions of dollars to put up a security barrier, news reports called it : apartheid.  When home invasions, knifings, shootings, bludgeoning of Israelis occurred, news reports called the installation of checkpoints " unnecessary," built to humiliate and hassle Arabs.  Arab killings of Israelis decreased by 96% after the security fence was built.   That went unreported.

In this same way, the ACC ignores Palestinian rocket/mortar fire into Israel (10,000 in the last four years);  ignores the fact that in Jerusalem, Jews, Christians, Muslims have full religious rights -( not  permitted under Islam);   ignores the unending indoctrination in Arab schools, texts, maps, mosques and media -the call to kill Israelis/Jews.  The ACC even ignores Christian  ( and Gay)  flight into Israel to escape Muslim intimidation, rapes, and death.

Although there are 22 Arab countries,  even after 60 years, none allow Palestinians to become citizens,  (nor any of their children).  That is why the claim of four million "refugees" is a total fraud.  Limited Arab money goes to the Palestinians.  But unending money to "buy" sympathetic public relations for the "Palestinian Cause" flows freely.  The truth, however, is that the "Palestinian Cause" is of no interest to Arab despots, it is just a useful tool to drive the original inhabitants of that land into the sea.

Yes, the Hebrews (Jews) inhabited the land over 2,500 years before Mohammed was born. Artifacts from Biblical times attest to the Jewish inhabitation.  Jesus' presence in Jerusalem attests to the holiness of that city for early Christians- the Jews - 600 years before Islam began.  Arab nomadic tribes came, some stayed, others went, but it was the Jews who called Jerusalem "holy" and that is why others followed suit.

Palestinian Fatah Leader Abbas tells the real story of Arab intentions toward Israel:  " I say this clearly:  I do not accept the Jewish state."  Muhammad Dahlan, former commander of the the Gazan Fatah forces, has been equally clear, "We do not demand that Hamas recognize Israel.  On the contrary, we demand Hamas not recognize Israel, because the Fatah movement does not recognize Israel, even today."

It is very clear that the Arabs reject peaceful co-existence - with Israel as a Jewish State - or with others as Christian ones.  "First, the Saturday People, then the Sunday People" is Islam's approach.  It is too bad that the ACC is helping to push that process along.

 Sincerely,
