ZOA Stages Town Hall Meeting, Rally To Oppose Obama's Plans for Israel

The Greater Philadelphia District of the Zionist Organization of America staged a Town Hall Meeting and rally to oppose President Obama's call for Israel to be squeezed into the pre-1967 Six Day War armistice lines with some "land swaps" and the creation of a PLO/Hamas state. The Congregations of Shaare Shamayim hosted and co-sponsored the town hall meeting, which took place exactly one week after President Obama's speech at the State Department. More than 300 Jews and Christians attended. The following Friday, 40 people attended a pro-Israel rally across from the Israeli Consulate in Center City.
